Instead of tearing down and building new, the McCarthys chose to expand their home up and out because they liked its good bones. They gained more than 200 square feet of living space downstairs, and an entire second floor.

“It’s great to have all this space upstairs to ourselves when the kids and grandkids visit,” beams Marie. “And now, we have a water view!”

Throughout the project, they appreciated Tim’s perfectionist planning. “He listened to our concerns and questions. He made good suggestions, and he was very willing to make changes,” Phil explains. “Tim is very easy to work with. He’s dependable and meticulous about details. And we’ve referred him to our friends,” adds Marie.

The new spacious state-of-the-art kitchen and airy living room are perfect for entertaining and year-round living.
